The experiment used a factorial randomized block design (RCBD) with two factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction between the shade and the provision of manure on the productivity and growth characteristics of the Trichantera gigantea (TG) plant. Trichantera gigantea (TG) is an AFP which is a tree legume with good nutrition and shade tolerance. TL DR: The results showed that the highest plant height, number of leaves, and biomass production of Trichantera gigantea were achieved at 72% shade treatment and doses of manure 250 g per plant, respectively.Ībstract: Most of the animal feed plants (AFP) are developed on marginal land and integrated with food crops and plantations.
